Tamara Taylor is the director of Hipnotic Bellydance, offering bellydance classes and performances in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast regions. An accomplished performer, choreographer and teacher, Tamara has been passionate about Orientale dance for more than 24 years.
Throughout her dance career Tamara has worked with Australian and International musicians creating artistic and authentic performances at concerts and festivals Australia-wide. Tamara, and her musician husband, Mike Taylor produce and direct The Australian Arabic Orchestra performances and Tamara is the AAO’s principal dancer and choreographer.
Tamara is also an experienced percussionist specialising in the Riq (Arabic Tambourine) and frame drums, and playing with several Brisbane based ensembles, including Muziz and the Australian Arabic Orchestra.
